The HIP contains important information that buyers and sellers need to know. Properties marketed from 14th December 2007 need a HIP. For sellers, providing a pack up front should reduce the likelihood of any nasty surprises in the selling process that could delay the sale. Buyers will be able to make informed decisions when choosing their home.
