The children of Class 1, All Souls Primary, Heywood have been learning about Estate Agency and their teacher, Anna Finbow contacted Andrew Kelly & Associates to see if they could help. Shaun Edmondson, Andrew Kelly’s Marketing Director, attended the school and helped with a class. The children played an Estate Agency game to help to understand the complexities of buying houses and were asked to design their own set of property particulars. The winning entry is shown above by Caitlan & Ciaran. Both children, aged 6, were presented with a trophy. The winning entry will be auctioned off for charity in our June 2009 Auction event and we hope to raise funds for the Andrew Kelly Foundation, a charity that was founded in 2007 and whose aim is to provide much needed financial support to local deserving causes (with an emphasis on children and young people). Since our businesses operate entirely at a local level, we are always keen to be involved in local projects.

Generous guests enjoyed a taste of Arabia and helped to raise more than £18,000 for charity at the first Andrew Kelly Foundation Dinner on 18th April 2008.
More than 180 people gathered at the Spotland Stadium’s Radcliffe Suite for the black tie event, which proved to be an enormous success, mainly due to the kind generosity of the guests. A number of guests entered into the spirit of the evening, wearing fancy dress and tucked into a delicious Arabian Themed four course meal.
The fundraising efforts were boosted with a prize draw and charity auction. Popular lots included a signed Manchester United Shirt, a personal helicopter flight to the Belfry, signed CD collection from Lisa Stansfield, an Arabian dream holiday to Sharm El Sheikh and a day out at Royal Berkdale.
Entertainment was provided by Dudley Doolittle, Wizardry, The Kasbah Dance Company and the Lomax Brothers. All proceeds from the Auction will be donated to the Foundation and will benefit mainly local charities with an emphasis on children and young people.
