Halifax Sales Advisor

Role Profile:

The role holder is directly responsible for the delivery of quality customer service and the achievement of personal sales targets.

Line of Report:

The role holder will report to the Agency Supervisor and indirectly to the Sales Manager and Operations Manager as required.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Meet agreed personal targets  
  • Offer a consistently high standard of customer  service
  • Present a professional and knowledgeable point of  contact to each customer
  • Build a rapport with customers to develop a  relationship for their future
  • Recommend products and services which meet the  individual needs of the customer
  • Observe and comply with Halifax Agency risk  requirements and the operational requirements of Andrew Kelly &  Associates
  • Maintain an awareness of competitors' offering and  the general market place, using this to win the customer's business  
  • Adhere to all FSA requirements  
  • Process administration and till/float management in  accordance with the requirements of Halifax PLC and Andrew Kelly &  Associates
  • Maintain a record of all sales leads and track those  to sales
  • Demonstrate a positive 'CAN DO' attitude within the  Agency
  • Offer support to the wider Agency network of Andrew  Kelly & Associates
  • Take full ownership for own personal development and  seek opportunities to learn
  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy in the management of cash and the  processing of transactions - minimising risk by ensuring data keyed 'right  first time

Quarterly Sales Targets:

Agency Targets - as agreed with ASM
Personal Targets - Agreed on a 1:1 basis with sales manager in accordance with role-holders stage of development.

Halifax Sales Developer

Role Profile:

This is a sales role - the holder of which will support and deputise for the Sales Manager.

The role holder is directly responsible for meeting personal sales targets as well as the targets of each Agency.

Line of Report:

The role holder will report to the Sales Manager on a daily basis and indirectly to the Operations Manager as required.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Meet agreed personal targets and Agency sales  targets
  • Proactively prospect existing customers to increase  their product holding via telephone and/or letter
  • Design and conduct Agency-based product campaigns and  initiatives to meet Agency Targets
  • Secure, attend and facilitate worksite visits in  conjunction with Halifax
  • Secure, attend and facilitate external events to  promote the Halifax agencies at Andrew Kelly & Associates
  • Support the Agencies by covering counter and sales  desk positions during periods of staff shortage
  • Book and conduct Agency based Banking Reviews (sales  for identified product being awarded to sales advisor and cross-sales being  awarded to role holder)
  • Observe and comply with Halifax Agency risk  requirements and the operational requirements of Andrew Kelly &  Associates
  • Monitor and track declined business for future  sales
  • Motivate, drive and develop Agency sales staff to fulfill their role in  liason with the Operations Manager and Sales Manager

Quarterley Sales Targets:

Agency Targets - As agreed with ASM
Personal Targets - Agreed every quarter with the Sales Manager
